Let me take a moment to explain who James Phillips really is:
James is a Husband, Father, Lover, Thinker, Artist, Creator, Leader, Friend, Mentor, and Much More.
As a kid, I always was intrigued by art and had a passion for drawing. I also found a passion for computers at an early age and ended up discovering graphic design in high school. I have taken this passion of art and technology with me throughout my schooling and now along with me into my career.
In my under grad years I put in many hours designing for Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI) at California State University, San Bernardino. I was also an active member in Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and served one full term as the VP of Communications. While continuing my education at CSUSB I also helped found Design Collective, a graphic design organization on campus and served as Vice President. I ended up walking in June 2011 with a degree in Graphic Design and Marketing and a minor in Web Design.
Currently I'm the Director of Omni & Marketing for Beyond Clothing. An outdoor clothing brand based out of Washington State that also services the military. I spend most of my time managing multiple marketing and digital projects, while guiding team members to maintain success and achieve goals. Some of my most notable projects while working at Beyond Clothing have been redesigning and maintaining their web presence, managing PPC and SEO strategies, building email marketing campaigns, launching cohesive product launch campaigns, and Social Campaigns.
On my free time I enjoy getting outside, hiking and riding the Mountains, floating down the river, cycling, weight lifting, reading and learning more about design and marketing, hanging out with friends, family, my beautiful wife Ciera and my two kids!
